Lemon Chia Bliss Balls: The Perfect Postpartum Freezer Snack
Let's talk about postpartum snacks. Specifically, the kind you can eat with one hand, at 3am, without having to prepare anything. These Lemon Chia Bliss Balls are exactly that.
Soft, chewy, naturally sweet and a little tangy from fresh lemon. They're made with six simple ingredients and take very little effort to prepare. We love keeping a batch in the freezer for those moments when you need something quick between meals.
Why we love them for postpartum
Dates provide carbohydrates for energy, while almonds, cashews and chia seeds contribute fats, fiber and some plant protein.
They're also incredibly practical. No reheating, no utensils and no preparation once they're made. Just grab one whenever you need a little something.
And if you're preparing for postpartum, having snacks ready to go is one less thing to think about.
The Recipe: Lemon Chia Bliss Balls

Make a Batch for Your Postpartum Freezer
Store your bliss balls in an airtight container in the fridge, or freeze them for longer storage. Allow frozen bliss balls to soften a few minutes before eating. They're great for your bedside snack stash, afternoon cravings or whenever you need something quick.
One little postpartum prep tip: make extra. Your partner will probably eat them too.
And if you'd rather skip the prep altogether, you can find our Lemon Chia Bliss Balls at Nourisher.
